What is Remote Deposit Capture?

 

Remote Deposit Capture is a service which allows a user to scan checks through a scanning device installed at your location of business and transmitting the scanned images for posting and clearing. The basic requirements for an RDC service currently include a PC, an internet connection, and a check scanner. Checks you receive at your corporate location can be scanned to create a digital deposit. This digital deposit is then transmitted (usually over an encrypted internet connection) to us, and we then accept the deposit, post the deposit to your account and assign availability based upon your availability schedule.
